ONN’s vision is to build a nonprofit newsroom that ensures all people in Ottawa County have access to trusted news. To that end, we pursue our mission of providing timely, accurate news coverage, promoting the value and benefit of public service and investigative journalism.
We see community advocacy as key to combating polarization and other big challenges of the day. Our community drives our coverage. We strive to always conduct ourselves with transparency and in an ethical manner, in accordance with the Society of Professional Journalists' standards.
League of Women Voters of Holland Area
The League of Women Voters of Holland Area is a non-partisan organization working to empower voters and defend democracy. We provide information about the voting process, hold candidate forums, sponsor voter registration drives, publish voter guides and maintain the VOTE411 website. These are are just a few examples of our league’s activities.

The Grand Haven Tribune covers Northwest Ottawa County, focusing its efforts on Grand Haven, Spring Lake, and Ferrysburg.
The Tribune dates back to 1885 when the paper debuted as The Evening Venture. The paper adopted the name, The Grand Haven Tribune, in 1969.
Located in downtown Grand Haven, the Tribune was purchased by Paxton Media Group in June of 2019.
